MHS
Well basically, in August I started high school :)!! I was very nervous and excited!!! Well now like a month after I could really care less! Now it's fine and everything is going OK! but I do miss Jason, Katie, Joey, Karly, and Zeke since they went to college :(!!

Caught!
Thursday, July 31, 2008 me and my mommy went walking after dinner. We walked up the street and in the middle of our walk it thundered, then it started sprinkling. Then came the downpour. We were about 10 minutes away from home and I was not very happy. Then an overwhelming feeling came over me. In New York we were hot, then it rained so we complained even more. It hit me. God gives us so many things and no matter what it is, we complain. We're never content with the fact that we need the rain or that in a few months we'll be complaining about how cold it is and we wish that it was hot!
So why is it that we're never content? I think it's because we want something and then we get it and we want more and more and more. So why does God give us more? Because he loves us. He loves us so much and some people don't appreciate it. I am very guilty of this myself. Sometimes I want something and then I get it and I want more. When is God's love going to be enough? When we stop wanting earthly things and start desiring every part of him.
So why is it that we're never content? I think it's because we want something and then we get it and we want more and more and more. So why does God give us more? Because he loves us. He loves us so much and some people don't appreciate it. I am very guilty of this myself. Sometimes I want something and then I get it and I want more. When is God's love going to be enough? Summer 08
Summer 08 was a BLAST!!!!
I hung out with Kenna all summer long. We slept on her porch and golfed (I stunk). We also played some B-BALL and swam and played with her dog. It was sooooooo much fun.
Beach[ed] Camp was Amazing. It showed us how we're really supposed to worship and how to worship God 24/7 but have fun doing it. Life is so great when you have a God like mine. I also mended some friendships that had been broken and also made some others stronger. :) LOVED IT!!
NYC rocked. It was amazing to see how distressed New York City is. I went on a mission trip with my choir from church. Along with drawing so much closer to God and realizing what I had, the shopping was AMAZING they have such and interesting culture that is so unique and like nothing I've ever seen before.
Orientation was so scary. I'm not ready for High School I wish the high school was the size of the middle school but everything else was like high school. :( I'm not ready.

Who I Trust.....
My Mommy=She's always there no matter what. I can tell her everything, and she helps me through it. She also tells me to always follow God and never second guess myself. She tells me how special I am and how if I have no self confidence I'll never get anywhere. I love her always no matter what.
JarredAllen= WOW! The biggest loser in the whole world but I trust him with my life. Sometimes I get really upset at him when he won't let me go to the bathroom :) but it's all good. He knows almost everything about me. He's been guiding me since I was in 7th grade I hope he will always be there.
My Granny=She's the most faithful woman I know. Words can't describe the countless wisdom she's given me and also how she picks me up and dust me off patts my butt and tells me to keep going.
HaliBeth= My B.F.F. for ever. She's such a good person to go to when I need advice and she always tells me straight up what she thinks!!
LauraKristine=It seems like forever since I met you. We have enough jokes to last a life time but I KNOW we will have many many more. I can tell you things I'm so ashamed of and you just help me through it and sometimes I think of you more as a sister than a friend.
K.T. B.= You are amazing and we've had our ups and downs but at the end of the day we're always there for each other and I know that. IDK what I would do without you.
SamanthaLeigh= I saved you for last because there's so much. I love you. We've been through everything under the sun together and look how strong we are (and getting stronger). We have so much stuff to laugh and cry and talk about we never have a dull moment. I love you more than anything and your friendship is everything to me.
KaraElexa=You've been there through all my crazy boy moments and I've been there through all of yours. We've never really fought and I can tell you everything and anything. We have millions of things to laugh about. All of our Science moments haha those are good times. Even though we have lots of funny things you're also always there when I need you. Alot of firsts happened 8th grade and you know what they are, and you were there for all of them. I Love You!!
KennaNicole=We haven't been friends very long but I feel like I've known you my WHOLE entire laugh. You're my accountability partner and I trust you soooooo much. Summer 08 we were together like a million times a week. The hot lifeguard and sleeping on your porch. When I was down you picked me up.

What I Think....
Recently I visited NYC on a mission trip with my youth choir with church. It was an amazing experience. There was a HUGE culture shock. They are so broken and they need Christ so much. When I realized exactly how much they needed him LOTS of pressure fell on my shoulders and after I prayed about it a weight was lifted completly. I've seen so much and there are so many things I will never forget!! When life gets tough I know I can count on my awesome God. This is what I want the people everywhere to realize that it just takes a call to him and his line is always open and that's what I have learned from this trip also that I have so much and I don't need to take it for granted.
